Hi, I'm Rachel, and I'm a stylist at Verde Salon.

What are your favourite services? Why?

My favorite services are... I definitely love a good bob for sure; it's very classic and timeless. I think ultimately, my favorite service is really working with you to learn about your lifestyle — what's easiest for you, how much time you want to spend on your hair — to give you an overall look you're going to love and feel beautiful in, but that's going to be manageable for you at home.

Why is Aveda important to you?

Aveda is important to me because one, they've always been the leaders in the industry for environmental wellness, as well as sustainability, and care for animals. I think it's great the beauty industry is really kind of getting more involved in this, but Aveda's always been number one for that. I think that's pretty awesome and it really aligns with my beliefs as well.

What can your guests expect from you?

When you're in my chair, I want your experience to be very relaxing. It's a time for yourself, so I want you to feel very confident in what's happening and kind of know the steps we're going to take, so you can just be at ease and know you're going to leave feeling absolutely amazing and fresh.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time, I really enjoy just relaxing at home and reading a good book. I also work with Colleen on Birch Accessories, so finding different pieces we think everybody would love and enjoy wearing as much as we do.
