A central tenet of our business is staying curious and always learning. We provide continuous training for our whole team so that we may improve our skills, grow in our craft, and become better people.
ECO-FRIENDLY BY DESIGN
We have taken steps to reducing our carbon footprint in ways Winnipeg has yet to see all under one roof. Our lighting and water fixtures are highly efficient, and all salon waste is repurposed or disposed of in an environmentally safe way thanks to the Green Circle Salon Program.
LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Verde Salon acknowledges that we are located on Treaty No. 1 Territory, traditional lands of the Anishinabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene peoples, and the birthplace and heart of the Métis Nation.
We are dedicated to ensuring equitable access to jobs and opportunities for Indigenous peoples and building and maintaining respectful relationships with Indigenous communities with relation to our operations and business development. As an organization focused on continued growth and education for our team, we are also completing further inclusion and anti-racism training to better work toward reconciliation in our everyday practices.
